The Learning and Development Coordinator is accountable for the coordination and administration of a variety of learning and development initiatives and activities. They will be responsible for overseeing company orientation, training administration, and reporting, in addition to coordinating with internal and external training providers.

We are seeking a candidate with training, human resources, and management experience. You will be the go-to person for learning and development questions and will be responsible for all related administration, ensuring a “get it right the first time” mentality.

You Provide:

Minimum of five years’ experience in Learning and Development Coordination, preferably in a software or IT environment.
Capability to simultaneously work on multiple assignments under time constraints.
Proven experience coordinating enterprise-wide initiatives, such as learnerships, graduate programs, and company orientations.
Two years of experience with mandatory reporting (TNA, WSP, etc.).
Demonstrate excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Capable of influencing and relating to members of diverse cultures and origins, as well as adapting training accordingly.

What Will You Do:

Organize hospitality, room layout, and equipment for workshop and event attendees. Liaison with trainers, booking training rooms, printing and disseminating course materials, and ensuring all necessary equipment is available and in working order to ensure the smooth operation of all relevant events.
Establish systems and procedures to guarantee the effectiveness and efficacy of the training service.
Research training providers, new training content, and other training-related information as directed.
Communicate with line managers and delegates to ensure that all Team Members are scheduled for required events within the stipulated time frame.
Ensure that evaluation forms are filled out and returned for each event development.
Contribute to the identification of the organization’s learning and development requirements through collaboration with the People Team.
Advise Team Members on training policies and procedures, including resolving or assisting in resolving issues pertaining to the operation of the learning and organisation development area.
Manage our annual mandatory training calendar, ensuring that all training is completed within the specified timeframes and providing accurate and timely updates to our people services partners and senior leaders.
Develop and maintain productive working relationships with external learning solutions providers.
Conduct training for trainers for internal subject matter experts.
Design and develop (outsourced and/or in-house) training programs to meet the organization’s training objectives.
In charge of the coordination and execution of a variety of initiatives and recurring events. This includes creating and maintaining up-to-date project plans, organizing meetings, and ensuring that systems and processes are established and projects are completed within the specified timeframes.
Coordinate the development and delivery of regular induction events for all new Team Members across the organization, ensuring that the content is reviewed and updated continuously in response to feedback.
Develop and maintain accurate and readily accessible records and processes for all learning and development activities and processes, including recording and monitoring attendance, and ensuring that Team Members required to attend particular workshops can be easily identified and tracked.
Develop and maintain positive, collaborative working relationships with all Team Members to preserve the People Services Team’s reputation as a customer-centric function.
Initiate purchase requisitions and monitor payment status on behalf of the People Services Team.
Comply with the requirements of the Data Protection Act of 1998 concerning the confidentiality and security of sensitive information.
Plan annual training programs for management, human resources, customer service, and more.
Design, prepare, and order instructional materials and aides.
Maintain an up-to-date database of curriculum and training records.
