The Cornubia location of Dis-Chem Pharmacies requires a Packer. This position’s primary objective is to ensure the efficient and accurate receiving and packaging of stock in accordance with Dis-Chem’s standard operational procedures and requirements, as well as customer needs, within the Store.
Minimum Requirements:
Essential:
Grade 12 / Matric
At least six months of relevant retail receiving experience
Mathematical basics
Microsoft Office proficiency
Able to work retail hours and willing to do so
Position Summary:
Remove inventory from the supplier’s transport
Verify that all received products/items are assigned accurately
Handle merchandise with caution to reduce stock damage and personal injury
Sort and arrange distinct products and items onto their own pallets to facilitate the checking in of goods.
Identify any discrepancies, such as damaged, misplaced, or incorrectly labeled items, and promptly report the problems.
Assist the Receiving Clerk in stock sorting and the process of inventory verification.
Accurately and precisely stock shelving or pallets with merchandise.
