Our client, Africa’s leading branded food services franchisor, is currently looking for Pickers / Packers in Glen Anil.
Pickers and Packers are two positions.
Glen Anil, Durban is the location.
Supervisor reports to:
Role: reads incoming orders and selects the appropriate items from warehouse shelves before staging them for delivery.
Responsibilities and Duties
Responsibilities:
Collecting order notes in order to complete deliveries.
Using barcodes, serial numbers, and other identifiers to retrieve ordered items from storage shelves or rooms.
Items should be securely shrink-wrapped before being placed in envelopes or boxes.
Using handling equipment in accordance with industrial safety regulations
Delivery vehicle loading
After each item is retrieved, the stock inventory is updated.
Controlling stock, including item replenishment and storage
As needed, perform general warehouse duties.

prior picking and packing experience (Scanning and sorting outgoing stock, Pulling, packing, and loading, Receiving, stocking, and stacking)
knowledge of how to utilize a barcode or radio frequency scanner
capable of working shifts.
Shortlisted candidates will be those who satisfy the qualifications and have the relevant experience. Those that live close to Glen Anil and the neighboring areas will receive preference.
Package and Salary: R350 per hour
