The Learning and Development Coordinator will be responsible for the coordination and administration of a range of learning and development activities and projects. They will be responsible for overseeing company orientation, training administration, and reporting, in addition to coordinating with internal and external training providers.
We are seeking for someone who has experience in training, human resources, and management skills. At least 5 years of Learning and Development Coordination experience preferably in a software or IT environment.
Capability to simultaneously work on multiple projects under time constraints.
Proven experience coordinating large company-wide initiatives such as learnerships, graduate programs, and company inductions.
Two years of experience with mandatory reporting (TNA, WSP, etc.).
Demonstrate strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
Capable of influencing and relating to members of diverse cultures and backgrounds, as well as adapting training accordingly.
What You’ll Do:
Arrange hospitality, room layout and equipment for participants attending workshops and events. Liaison with trainers, booking training rooms, printing and disseminating course materials, and ensuring all necessary equipment is available and in working order to ensure the smooth operation of all relevant events.
Establish systems and procedures to ensure the efficiency and effectiveness of the training service offering.
Research training providers, new training content, and other training-related information as directed.
Liaise with line managers and delegates to ensure all Team Members are engaged on required events within agreed timeframes.
Ensure that evaluation forms are filled out and returned for each event development.
Contribute to the identification of learning and development needs within the organisation through collaboration with the People Team.
Advise Team Members on training policies and procedures, including resolving or assisting in resolving issues pertaining to the operation of the learning and organisation development area.
Manage our annual mandatory training calendar, ensuring that all training is completed within the specified timeframes and providing accurate and timely updates to our people services partners and senior leaders.
Develop and maintain productive working relationships with external providers of learning solutions.
Host train-the-trainer sessions for internal subject matter experts.
Design and develop training programs (outsourced and/or in-house) to meet the training goals of the organisation.
Responsible for the coordination and delivery of a range of initiatives and regular events. This will include producing and keeping updated project plans, arranging meetings and ensuring systems and processes are established and projects delivered to agreed timescales.
Coordinate the development and delivery of regular induction events for all new Team Members across the organization, ensuring that the content is reviewed and updated continuously in response to feedback.
Develop and maintain accurate and easily accessible records and processes for all learning and development activities and processes including recording and monitoring attendance, ensuring that Team Members required to attend specific workshops are easily identified and followed up.
Develop and maintain positive, collaborative working relationships with all Team Members to sustain the reputation of the People Services Team as a customer-focused function.
Initiate purchase requisitions and monitor payment status on behalf of the People Services Team.
Ensure that confidentiality and security of sensitive information are maintained and comply with the requirements of the Data Protection Act 1998.
Map out annual training plans for management, HR, customer support and more.
Design, prepare, and order instructional materials and aids.
Maintain an up-to-date database of curriculum and training records.
