Dispute Resolution Administration.
The position entails handling a variety of dispute resolution processes, such as conciliations, arbitrations, and exemption applications. The Administrator will be in charge of screening and capturing referrals, updating an electronic dispute tracker, scheduling hearings, and responding to stakeholder inquiries and correspondence. Furthermore, the Administrator must write and compile periodical reports on the progress of active cases.
Documentation Processing for Labor Court Reviews.
This involves processing and organizing the paperwork required for labor court review applications. To satisfy legal deadlines, the selected candidate must guarantee that all documents are accurate, full, and timely submitted.
Committee Support Services.
The Administrator will offer comprehensive support for Council meetings, including creating and distributing meeting notices, managing logistics, and aiding with agenda and minute preparation.The Administrator must verify that all financial transactions are properly documented and in accordance with applicable requirements.
General Reception and Office Support.
Responsibilities include answering phones, managing mail, filing, stock upkeep, photocopying, and faxing. The Administrator is frequently the first point of contact for visitors and stakeholders, therefore great organizational skills and a nice disposition are required.
Desired Experience and Qualifications.
The ideal applicant for this role should have the following qualifications:
Post-Matric Certificate in Labour Relations Management.
A strong educational background in labor relations is required, as the position entails dealing with complex labor disputes and related processes.
Advanced Computer Literacy.
The Administrator should be skilled in a variety of software applications, such as word processing, spreadsheets, and databases. This expertise is essential for handling computerized dispute trackers and producing reports.
Code B Driving License and Own Vehicle
Due to the nature of the position, the selected candidate must have a valid driver’s license and access to their own vehicle for travel to various locations as needed.
Two Years of Administrative Experience This experience should ideally be in a related subject, such as labor relations, municipal administration, or a comparable setting.
Candidates with experience in labor relations administration, particularly conflict resolution in local government or CCMA/bargaining councils, will be given preference. This experience is critical because it gives the required background to successfully negotiate complex labor-related concerns.
Compensation and Benefits.
The role comes with a respectable remuneration package that costs the employer R29,612.67 each month. This package includes pension and medical assistance contributions to employer-designated pension funds and medical aid plans.
